Visits to Schools - May 2026

Workshops with teachers at Broomhill School and Airyhall Primary in Aberdeen

We had a fantastic time visiting local schools the past two weeks as part of the GenAISiS T.R.A.I. N. project, connecting with more than 50 primary school teachers.  Key feedback from teachers included how the activities support creativity and imagination, promote critical thinking and discussion and help pupils to develop analysis, questioning and evaluation skills.

Teachers shared with us that the work encourages dialogue and reflection and that the activities are motivating and engaging for learners, with interactive and engaging features that help to increase student participation and curiosity.

We also received confirmation that the activities develop in pupils digital literacy and understanding of AI as they support awareness of how tools work and their implications. What teachers also highlighted was the element of collaboration and communication: activities encourage group work, sharing ideas and peer interaction.

Finally, teachers saw clear curriculum links across digital literacy, health and wellbeing, and interdisciplinary learning, showing how the project activities can be used but also tailored and further extended to suit particular subjects.

A huge thank you to Ms Claire Aitken from Broomhill Primary School and to Ms Kirsty Taylor and Ms Donna Polson from Airyhall Primary school for the warm welcome and the brilliant conversations!
